Bringing B2B shopping and financing together

CreditKey provides flexible financing for businesses, giving buyers access to credit and payment terms directly within the purchasing experience.

I led the UX and product design for a new B2B marketplace and mobile app, creating a connected experience where businesses could discover merchants, apply for financing, manage their credit, and complete purchases using their CreditKey card.

CreditKey wanted to expand beyond financing at merchant checkout and create a marketplace where businesses could discover and purchase products using their CreditKey financing. The experience needed to connect shopping, financing, and purchasing into one seamless journey.

I owned the end-to-end UX for the marketplace, building on initial discovery work completed by another designer. I designed the core shopping experience, including merchant discovery, browsing, product details, cart management, financing, and checkout.

The goal was to make B2B purchasing feel as intuitive as consumer e-commerce while integrating the complexities of business financing.

I translated the marketplace into bespoke iOS and Android experiences, redesigning interactions around mobile shopping patterns like swiping, browsing, and fluid navigation.

Users could browse merchants, manage their cart, view their available credit, set payment terms, and complete purchases using their CreditKey card directly from the app.

The marketplace and mobile app gave CreditKey customers a new way to discover merchants and use their financing beyond individual checkout experiences.

The app launched with a 4.8-star rating on the Apple App Store, bringing marketplace discovery, financing, and purchasing together in one connected experience.
